WHY ŠTACIJA

Our building is known locally as the former Railway Resort (Željezničko odmaralište). It served as a seaside vacation property for railway employees and their families for many years after which it stood neglected for a long time. In 2016, redevelopment began honoring the original architecture while creating a fresh, contemporary space for today's guests of Štacija.

ŠTACIJA is a local slang for a place you always wish to come back to. The “&” in our name symbolizes the many reasons to visit. Whether it’s for our welcoming hotel and beautiful city of Kaštela and its surroundings, our vibrant bar, or our carefully crafted dishes paired with authentic local wines.

We make sure that you start every day right by enjoying Štacija’s breakfast. Indulge in a selection of local and international specialties, freshly prepared and made-to-order. You can enjoy our breakfast in the cozy restaurant area inside as well as on the outside terrace on summer days.

Working Hours 7 AM - 11 AM

Breakfast is also available to non-hotel guests for 15 € per person.

Perfect hotel in every way!

This place is amazing in every way. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Intimate hotel by the water

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Stacija, rooms with impeccable sea views. Very kind and attentive staff. The breakfast is worthy of a 4 star: fresh orange juice, omelettes or scrambled eggs on request, all kinds of tea, fresh fruit and pastries, fresh bread and cereals ... we also ate 3 evenings at the restaurant of the hotel. It is excellent and there are good wines. The place is quiet and close to split, Trogir and the khak waterfalls. The staff are young, cheerful and lovely. A very nice stay, don't hesitate!!!

Wonderful in every way

We were flying out of Split on a night flight, which got cancelled. We called Hotel Stacija to see if they had any vacancies and they had a room available. We took a ten minute taxi there and were absolutely stunned. The hotel is beautiful, even though we were arriving at night. The staff was so friendly and even gave us an amazing deal since we were coming in late with a small child who was tired and cranky. We woke up to a beautiful view directly to the water with a large cantilevered balcony. Stunning. Breakfast was fantastic. They made eggs to order in addition to the rest of the nice spread. We were sad we had to leave again for the airport and couldn't swim from the dock directly in front of the hotel. We would love to come back on purpose some time soon!

Peace after Split

We visited this hotel after an enjoyable but busy three nights in Split. It was the perfect tonic. As soon as we walked round the front and saw the location we realised our choice was a good one. We were hot from travelling and, although we don’t often swim in the sea, the ease of doing so, with a tempting area directly in front of the hotel, was too much to resist! The rooms are simple but nice and the balcony has an exceptional view. We dined in the restaurant both evenings and were impressed by the service and quality of the food. We took the option of getting the local bus into Trogir which was nice but we very much liked escaping back to the sleepy Kastela area afterwards.

Great service and standard. The hotel is recently renovated so it's very clean and tasteful. The surrounding area is very laidback and consits mostly of locals.it's a 3 star hotel but a 5 star feeling.

Very nice hotel with an excellent service and super friendly and professional staff

We stayed at this hotel for the second part of our holiday in croatia and it was a nice surprise as it is an excellent hotel with excellent access, beautiful views very clean and with an excellent breakfast.we had dinner in the restaurant and the staff was super nice and the food and the wines very good.perfect for being the base to visit the northern part of croatia.We will repeat it certainly.

My husband and I spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon at Hotel Stacija and were beautifully surprised by the way we were received and the hotel itself. It certainly exceeds all standards of a 3-star hotel. The views are absolutely incredible, the hotel is brand new and very cozy, the breakfasts were absolutely delicious but the best of all were the people who took care of us! Thank you very much!

Glorious!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Stacija. Our room faced the Adriatic Sea and we had our own private terrace to sit outside and enjoy the breath taking view. The breakfast were delicious, eggs to order every morning, free parking, and wonderful staff and accommodations.
